In a bid to support frontline heroes working for the HSE, SEAT Ireland has teamed up with The Mater Hospital as part of an innovative mobility initiative. One of the challenges of HSE front line staff is trying to avoid being diagnosed with COVID-19 at this challenging time, especially for HSE staff who need to use public transport to get to and from work.
To address this issue, SEAT Ireland came up with a solution to provide a fleet of EXS electric KickScooters to the Mater Hospital in Dublin. The Mater Hospital recently took delivery of the e-scooters that will allow its front line nurses and doctors to get to and from the hospital safely, knowing that it will help them to avoid being diagnosed with COVID-19 or passing it on to other colleagues and non-COVID-19 related patients.
What’s more, the Mater Hospital is using some of the scooters for staff to move within the hospital grounds and to get to and from different locations more efficiently. The Mater Hospital is delighted with this new partnership with SEAT Ireland and has been inundated with requests for more electric scooters, which SEAT Ireland has sourced and delivered.
