SEAT Ireland Covers VAT Change With March Offers

SEAT Ireland kick off the month by waving the reintroduction of the 23% VAT rate for customers

SEAT Ireland kick off the month by waving the reintroduction of the 23% VAT rate for customers and covering the cost of any proposed increase for the month of March. SEAT say they want to ensure Irish customers continue to get the best value for their new car purchase in 2021. SEAT dealers will also be offering a safe 'Click and Deliver' service for car buyers so they can have their brand new SEAT delivered right to their door during lockdown.

SEAT has enjoyed a strong start to 2021, despite the challenges faced again this year, and the brand is already once again in the top ten brands for the second consecutive year. With the new Leon e-HYBRID 's recent launch, the brand is now electrified, too, with the e-HYBRID available from just €30,740. The Leon e-HYBRID truly offers the 'best of both worlds' – with the capability to handle most drivers' everyday needs in EV-mode only, capable of up to 64km on battery power alone, twinned with the reassurance of a potent 150PS 1.4 TSI petrol engine to offer a combined 204PS.

"With Ireland very much still in the thick of the COVID-19 lockdown, we know that it is a challenging time to buy a new car. We want to give customers every chance to get into their new car with the best possible overall value, price, finance, spec and digital / virtual experience, and that is why we have decided not to pass on any price increase for the month of March when the VAT rate returns to the standard 23% on March 1st," said Niall Phillips, Brand Director of SEAT Ireland.

As well as this saving across the range, there are several other offers for SEAT customers in March. There are PCP rates as low as 0% on all Ibiza, Arona and Ateca models, 2.9% on the Alhambra and on the Tarraco and 2.9% on Leon models (3.9% on the Leon e-HYBRID).

SEAT’s comprehensive 3-year Service Plan is also available for just €9.99 per month for added piece of mind.

Although physical showrooms remain closed under government level 5 restrictions, SEAT customers can avail of multiple online services via a virtual showroom including car configuration, live chat, and financial services, allowing them to seamlessly interact with all retailers.
