Sbarro Espera Evoluzione

What can 25 students do in 13 weeks? The answer to that is build a rather odd, yet inspiring concept car to display at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. A group of students at the Espera Sbarro design school in France have created the Sbarro Espera Evoluzione, a concept car that looks to be inspired by the motorcycle world and, quite possibly, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento concept’s ugly cousin. The finished look leads us to believe that the car may have been put through an automotive blender before being displayed.

In order to create this interesting concept, the 25 students were split into two groups: one group working on the drivetrain and chassis, while the other was responsible with the design of the car. The latter group may need to retake the class as their design has about zero flow and looks like it’s breaking and melting all at the same time.

The Sbarro Espera Evoluzione is powered by an Audi sourced 1.8 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a total output of 178 HP. The concept features three Recaro seats: one centrally mounted for the driver and two rear passenger seats. The concept is painted in a combination of gray and matte black color with LED lights and sits on 20" black wheels.
