The Volkswagen e-Golf is now available, for a limited time only, with 0 per cent PCP finance.
Even better, Volkswagen Ireland has come up with a two-year PCP solution that will allow customers interested in the German brand's forthcoming ID electric sub-marque to move easily into the hatchback production model when it arrives in 2021.
Staying in the here and now for a moment, the e-Golf is available in two specifications, which are plain old e-Golf and then the Executive Edition. The Executive Edition builds on the standard car's kit list with 17-inch Madrid alloys, LED taillights, a full leather interior, the Active Info Display digital instrument cluster, a rear-view camera and keyless access. Prices start at €35,995 after government incentives and that translates into as little as €349 per calendar month, or €379pcm for the €39,495 Executive Edition.
If you want to avail yourself of the two-year PCP deal, so that you can switch out of your e-Golf into a Volkswagen ID in two years' time, then it'll be €399pcm for the regular model and €489pcm on the Executive Edition.
Mark McGrath, Volkswagen Ireland's head of marketing, said: "Customers of the e-Golf can save around €50 [based on total cost of ownership] per month by driving this model compared to a 1.6-litre diesel Golf of similar specification. And with this new two-year PCP product, customers can get into the e-Golf now and then readily move into the new ID products when they arrive."
