We are delighted to announced the launch of the 2026 Carzone Car Awards, the first awards in Ireland where motorists have the chance to create the shortlist alongside motoring experts.
The Carzone Car Awards will feature two key elements to identify and celebrate the best New and Used Cars available in Ireland, with categories ranging from Overall Car of the Year to Ireland’s Most Loved EV.
Drivers’ Choice Awards: Voted for by the Irish public via Carzone.ie, these awards will celebrate the most popular and best-loved used cars on Irish roads.
Experts’ Choice Awards: Voted by a judging panel of respected motoring experts, including Shane O’Donoghue of CompleteCar.ie, a World Car Awards juror, these awards recognise innovation, performance, and design in New Cars.
Carzone’s Car Awards will recognise excellence across both the new and used car markets, combining public opinion and expert insight to crown Ireland’s most loved and best-performing cars.
Speaking at the announcement, Ailish Connolly from Carzone said: “The Carzone Car Awards put motorists firmly back in the driving seat. These awards are shaped by the car lovers and automotive experts who buy and love cars every day. Above all, at Carzone we love cars too, and this new initiative reflects that shared passion.”
