Carzone, Ireland’s trusted motoring marketplace, has announced additional support for customers and the motoring industry following the latest set of government restrictions affecting Ireland due to Covid-19. Carzone is offering its core advertising packages free of charge for its customers and partners for the month of February, similar to support they provided to their customers in 2020.
These measures have been offered by Carzone to further lend its support to car dealerships across the country who have had to close their showrooms as part of the most recent government restrictions, and is aimed at helping ease financial pressure for retail partners and to allow them return to normal business as soon as possible once restrictions have lifted.
Carzone continues to recommend that its customers maximise their online presence by utilising the many online tools available on their platforms including Dealer Finance, Trade-in, Live Chat, Text and Remote Selling Flags which have seen extensive engagement from consumers in recent times.
Carzone experienced strong audience growth in December, with online engagements from customers to dealerships increasing by over 30% year-on-year, and this increased demand continues across all fronts in January, indicative of the shift in consumer buying behaviour as more car buyers are looking to complete as much of the transaction online as possible.
In further support, Carzone is delighted to launch a new online performance improvement centre to help customers maximise profitability. The centre features Retail Performance Masterclasses (RPM) which have been designed to help improve business profitability across the automotive ecosystem; from sourcing the correct stock, to pricing to market, and expertly advertising stock.
The programme is available online 24/7 and is completely free of charge for users. The first two masterclasses are available now at https://www.carzone.ie/dealer-info/rpm.
Commenting on the initiative, Warren Cray, Managing Director at Carzone said:
“This year brings a new set of challenges in an ever-changing motoring industry, with evolving consumer buying behaviours. Carzone is committed to continue offering support to customers and the industry, which is why the decision to financially support our customers again has been made. By offering a free month of advertising with Carzone, the hope is to ease the strain on cash flow and enable our partners to return to business as normal as soon as possible once restrictions lift.”
