Gumball 3000 is an annual road race that features over 150 cars, generally of the 'exotica' type, along with celebrity drivers who drive and party their way around the world. This year marks the 15th birthday of the event and for the Copenhagen to Monaco trip drivers such as David Hasselhoff, Tony Hawk and Kimi Raikkonen will be joined by none other than the Batman.

Saudi Arabian based Team Galag will field a replica of Christian Bale's Tumbler Batmobile that has been built in conjunction with Florida based Parker Brothers Concepts. The Galag Tumbler weighs 2.5 tons, has a track wider than that of a truck and is powered by a 400hp 6.2-litre Chevy V8 engine - it also has a top speed of 100mph, but we will excuse that.
Unlike the car used in the Batman film this Tumbler has to be not only road legal but also capable of completing the 3,000-mile journey.
