For the 152 period, Volkswagen Ireland is reintroducing a finance offer whereby the higher in specification you go the lower APR you pay.
The deal has proven popular in the past with the number of Highline specification cars rising by 28 per cent last year on PCP packages and 19 per cent when bought on hire purchase.
For example, on the top-selling Golf, entry level Trendline attracts an APR rate of 5.9 per cent. Move up to Comfortline and this drops to 3.9 percent but choose the highest level Golf, including the hot GTD, GTI and R models, and the APR drops to 1.9 per cent.
