Renault and Westmeath support mental health
Renault Ireland and Mullingar dealer, O'Briens Renault, is teaming up with Westmeath county footballers this weekend to highlight mental health and the charities associated with it.
In its match against Armagh this week in the Allianz Football League, the Westmeath players will have 'Together for Mental Health' on the front of their jerseys instead of the usual Renault sponsorship.
The initiative has already received the support of Pieta House in Athlone and Good2Talk in Mullingar.
Renault Ireland's Country Operations Director, Patrick Magee, said: "We are delighted to be able to support this initiative as county sponsors of Westmeath GAA, together with our local dealership O'Briens Mullingar, and hope it will help to highlight some of the range of mental health services available and the fantastic work of these charities. We're looking forward to an exciting clash on Sunday and wish the players the very best of luck!"
Pieta House provides a free, therapeutic approach to people who are in suicidal distress, those who engage in self-harm and those bereaved by suicide. Good2Talk offers a counselling and support service for those who present with a range of issues including depression, grief, anxiety, self-harm and suicidal ideation.
