Nissan Micra pricing released
For that money, you get the base-spec 1.0-litre petrol XE, with the other end of the range represented by the €22,650 1.5-litre diesel SVE. In between these two trims are SV and SV Premium. The three-cylinder, normally aspirated petrol unit is the cheapest engine, with the 0.9-litre turbo costing an additional €1,000 and the diesel another €2,000 on top of that.
Only the diesel is available at all trim grades (the 1.0 petrol is available in XE and SV, while the 0.9-litre turbo starts at SV and goes upwards) while it costs €800 to go from an XE to an SV, €1,000 to step up to SV Premium from SV, and €1,200 to upgrade an SV Premium to SVE spec. XE cars get 15-inch steel wheels, LED daytime running lights, electric mirrors and front windows, Hill Start Assist, a trip computer, air conditioning, a height-adjustable driver's seat and a two-tone dashboard.
SV models add 16-inch alloys, a seven-inch display for the audio system, cruise control, chrome interior trim and SV-specific black-and-grey cloth upholstery. SV Premium then adds a leather trimmed steering wheel, privacy glass, front fog lamps, LED ambient lighting, climate control, rain-sensing wipers and NissanConnect infotainment. Top-ranking SVE Micras wear 17-inch alloys and have keyless entry and go, a reversing camera with rear parking sensors, a Bose Personal Audio six-speaker system (a €500 option elsewhere in the range), the Safety Pack, a leather gear knob, three rear head restraints and SVE cloth trim.
Interior personalisation options start from €400 and exterior personalisation kits (with 17-inch alloys) cost €1,000, although body decals can be had for €300.
