Mitsubishi's 201 offers

Mitsubishi has launched its 201-plate offers for Irish customers, and they include an eight-year warranty.

For those who fancy buying Mitsubishi's plug-in hybrid Outlander, there's the offer of an '888' package, which includes an eight-year warranty, an €800 home charging point and an €800 Dunnes Stores voucher. The new 2020 Outlander edition has a range of equipment upgrades with the Intense model now coming with an electrically adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats and a new larger eight-inch display screen as standard. The top of the range S-Edition will come with a new built in TomTom navigation system and the Mitsubishi Power Sound System.

The Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-In Hybrid EV Intense model is available from €39,900, the Outlander Plug-In Hybrid EV Instyle is available from €43,900 and the top of the line Outlander Plug-In Hybrid EV S-Edition is available from €48,250.

Mitsubishi claims that the Outlander PHEV can go for 45km on a fully charged battery, and has a combined battery-and-petrol range of 600km. The 888 offer applies to orders lodged before the 31st of December.

The smaller Eclipse Cross and ASX crossovers come with a Dunnes voucher too, for €500, if you order before December 18th. The Eclipse Cross gets a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, while standard equipment includes Mitsubishi's Smartphone Link Display Audio System with seven-inch touchscreen, featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Touchpad Controller and Keyless Operation System.

The ASX, which comes with a 1.6-litre engine, is available from €26,500 and the new ASX 2.0-litre Intense model with an automatic gearbox is available from €31,500. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Intense model (manual) is available from €31,750. Both cars come with the same eight-year warranty as the Outlander.

Alongside those, Mitsubishi has its new L200 pickup truck just arriving into Irish dealers, and if you're trading in a 4x4 model against one, you can get an extra €1,500 bonus added to your trade-in value. The L200 gets a new 2.2-litre diesel engine with a Selective Catalytic Reduction [SCR] system to reduce emissions of harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx).

The Mitsubishi L200 Double Cab Business (manual) starts at €35,000, the L200 Double Cab Intense (manual) starts at €37,850, the L200 Double Cab Intense (automatic) starts at €39,350 and the L200 Double Cab Instyle (automatic) starts at €41,935. It too comes with an eight-year warranty.
