Ford 'Goes Further'

Ford has kick-started its sales drive ahead of the 151 registration period by launching its new 'Go Further Sales Event'.

What's new?
Ford has kick-started its sales drive ahead of the 151 registration period by launching its new 'Go Further Sales Event', which will run throughout its dealer network. In addition to offering substantial discounts for anyone seeking to purchase a new Fiesta, Focus, B-MAX, C-MAX or Kuga, each model will also come with an extended five-year warranty as an added bonus.

For potential buyers looking to trade in any car up to ten years old against a new 2015 model, Ford will also offer a 'Swappage' bonus of €1,500. This 'Swappage' bonus is given in addition to whatever the current trade-in vehicle's value is and will run until 30 November.

Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Ireland, said, "There are a lot of people out there who are waiting to trade up to a new car but aren't sure if the time is right. Our 'Go Further' sale and Swappage scheme is aimed squarely at owners of cars up to 10 years old, and with the sheer value on offer we hope it will make '151' car ownership a reality for thousands of motorists." He went on to say, "Swappage could be the single biggest factor in getting people behind the wheel of a new car in 2015."

What about finance?
Buyers will also be able to avail of a new finance package called Ford Options, which has a competitive 4.9 per cent APR and allows customers to have a minimum future value of their purchase guaranteed.
