Carzone drives the Kia Stinger on Irish roads

The Stinger is the most powerful production vehicle in Kia's history

Kia isn’t best-known for building sports cars, that’s set to change in 2018 with the all-new Stinger. The Stinger is the most powerful production vehicle in Kia’s history and we were recently at its official Irish launch in Kildare, which was our first opportunity to drive it on Irish roads.

The Stinger will be available with a selection of petrol and diesel engines from launch, but our test car was fitted with the most powerful unit in the range, a 3.3-litre twin turbocharged petrol engine churning out 370 horsepower. Check out our short video from the day below.

The 3.3 litre Kia Stinger V6 GT is priced at €66,895 and will be available in March 2018. The 2.2 litre diesel GT Line model is priced circa €53,000 (price TBC) and will be available in March 2018. Right hand drive models come in RWD only. We look forward to bringing you a full in-depth review of the Stinger in early 2018.
