Carzone Review:

4 / 5

The Volkswagen Golf has been one of the most popular hatchback cars on sale for decades, and a new version has arrived for 2017 and it’s packed with more technology and interior features than ever before. While the differences in terms of styling are minimal from the previous generation Golf, look closer and you’ll find new features such as newly designed headlights, LED tail light clusters and a reshaped radiator grille. With hatchback, estate and sport versions of the Golf to choose from, there is literally a Golf to suit every occasion.

  • Great new engines
  • Connectivity and technology

New Volkswagen Golf Range

The interior of the new Golf has taken a step forward with slick new infotainment displays, improved passenger comfort and a host of new optional extras for increasing safety out on the road. Volkswagen offers an improved range of TSI petrol and TDI diesel engines with the car for improved power and economy, while active cylinder system allows TSI equipped-Golfs to run the engine on two cylinders only to reduce petrol consumption. Other driver assistance options include Park Assist, a Blind Spot Sensor and pedestrian warning which are exciting new features. Choosing the right spec and engine combination is crucial based on your annual mileage and driving style, we’d recommend a higher spec for long term resale value down the road.
