There are actually no reported major recurring problems with the Almera. They’re just staggeringly reliable. Pretty dull too, and absolutely no fun to drive, but it’ll probably never let you down. Earlier models were subject to a few recalls that should have been carried out by now anyway, but post-04 models should be solid as a rock.
