Would a petrol Fiesta suit us?
Having just moved to the country from South Africa we are looking for a small family car to buy . our budget is approx 13000 euros cash . We have been looking at the Ford Fiesta , is petrol a better option than diesel ? It will mainly be used for small town use. Which car would you advise for that budget and size range.

Yes, and yes would be your answers! To clarify, the Ford Fiesta is one of the best superminis you can buy and, if you’re buying it for town use only, then petrol is definitely the way to go. Also consider some of the other supermini leading lights that will fall within your budget, such as the SEAT Ibiza, Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Fabia, Peugeot 208, Citroen C3, Toyota Yaris, Honda Jazz and Kia Rio.
