Worth replacing my Insignia's engine?
The engine blew on my 2009 Vaux Insignia 2Litre Diesel. I am just wondering is it worth putting a new engine in to fix it? How much are they? And if the engine is good will there be any complications?

Hi Shane,
A new engine will cost between €2,500 and €3,000 (and that’s a very ballpark figure — it varies hugely) and then you’ll have a lot of fitting expenses on top of that. If you were to keep it and ‘run it into the ground’ it might be worthwhile, but if you were planning on changing soon anyway, then there’s not much point.
