Valuing that is going to be hard for us. The Mk1 Golf GTI is fast becoming a high-price collectors’ piece, which means second-hand prices are all over the place, and if yours is original and restored to a high standard, then it could be worth a small fortune. We’d say it’s at least in the €20,000-€30,000 bracket, but it might be worth even more, especially as it’s right-hand drive – you’ll get UK Golf aficionados interested in that sort of car, too. Good luck selling it!
