Electric cars . Is there a long way to go before we have something worth investing in ??
Hi Derek,
No, but it is still a bit dependent on your lifestyle and your driving habits. If your daily drive is a long schlep up and down the motorway, then electric cars are still not for you (although a Toyota Prius could be…). If you drive mostly shorter commutes, and spend a bit of time in town, then yes, an EV could well be worth having a look at. The Hyundai Ioniq and the Renault Zoe 40 are the current state-of-the-art (unless you fancy splashing out €100k on a Tesla…) and there are more coming soon, including the 300km-range Volkswagen e-Golf.
