I have a 1986 mazda 323 with almost 86000 original miles on it. It needs a rack and pinion, shifter mount, and catalytic converter. Always starts but id like to get an opinion if its worth fixing or not.
Hi Travis,
It’s a really hard car to value, as a huge amount depends on what sort of condition it’s in, but there’s no question that it’s a burgeoning classic, and very rare now. Heart says yes, it’s totally worth doing the work and keeping it going, but it will depend on the cost of the work. The car itself, as it stands, is possibly worth around €5,000, but again that’s depending on a huge range of factors.
