Worth changing to newer Qashqai?
Thinking of trading my Nissan Qashqai 2010, Diesel,1.5 for a Petrol Version 2014 (1.2), Dig - T Acenta, as hardly do any miles with it. Asking price is €16,900. Worth changing ?

Your Qashqai should be worth about €8,500, but not as a trade-in – you need to knock about €1,500 or so off the price for a trade-in value. The Mk2 Qashqai you’re looking at is a very nice vehicle and the 1.2-litre DIG-T engine is a fine motor, but if you’re spending €9,000 to upgrade to save a little bit on fuel costs, it’s probably not worth the swap – especially if your 2010 version is still running sweetly.
