I'm afraid there's no science to this. No matter what the automated valuation tool comes up with, the car is only worth what a given dealer is willing to pay as a trade-in. That can vary considerably from dealer to dealer and car to car. A given dealer might even change their minds another day if they think they can sell a car on quickly. All you can do is shop around to see where you can get the best deal. I'd suggest that BMW dealers based in big cities are more likely to be interested in your car than those in smaller regions.
