Will the OMSP reflect damage?

Will the OMSP reflect damage?

Hi Shane. If I what to import the car from UK and the car is damaged. The VRT will calculate OMSP as a good condition car or they calculate as a damage car?

Our answer:

Hi Igor,

As far as I am aware, the OMSP should take into account a car's damage when it is assessed. If it does not and you think you have grounds on which to appeal, you may do so afterwards with documentation to support your claim - such as the cost of repairs. The OMSP is supposed to be the price the car would sell on the open market in the condition and specification it is presented for inspection in.
