Hi is a s - type jaguar going to be a classic car ever
Hi Claudio,
Well, there are two S-Types — the original model from the sixties that is most definitely a classic car already, and the 1998 to 2008 model, the status for which is less assured. The second S-Type was never regarded as a brilliant car in its day, although a 2002 facelift did dramatically improve both the handling and the interior, but for most it’s one of those Jaguars with a bit too much Ford in the genes, and the rapturous reception for its replacement, the XF, tells you a lot. That said, in a technical sense, all second-generation S-Types will become classics in 2028, when the earliest models become eligible for both classic tax and classic insurance.
