Will my warranty sort my X-Trail out?
Hello Shane,
I just picked up an X-Trail today, an 09 model car running fine until I go home, pick up kids and the engine management light comes on. Checked the manual and it says car is driveable, but not above 70km/h, not a happy bunny. Phoned garage they are taking it back to plug it in. Was given a six-month warranty on it. I presume all issues will be sorted by them?

How annoying. But yes, that should definitely be covered under warranty. Make sure they tell you what the error code was and what they did to rectify it. Don't be fobbed off.
