Will my Renault be written off?
Have a 2010 renault scenic 1.5 diesel with 130,000 km on the clock, we think it will be written off. what value would it be worth?

Hi Brendan,
That car would, undamaged, be worth about €5,750 to €6,750 on the open market. Ordinarily, if repairs total more than half its value, then the car will be written off. Thus, if you’ve done more than about €3,000-worth of damage to it, or it has been damaged by events out of your control, then it does indeed look like the Renault will be written off.
