I have a 2007 Clio Campus. I've been told that piston two in the engine is gone and that the car needs a new engine. I'm not prepared to pay the cost of a second hand engine and the labour cost of fitting it so thought about selling it to someone who might be interested in doing that work themselves on the car. How much could I expect to get? It's in good condition and has been regularly serviced. I could provide the service record. It has an NCT cert to 2016. It has about 150,000km on the clock and it's petrol.
Hi Brian,
To be honest, with that kind of engine problem you'll be lucky to get €500 for it. In fact, you may have to give it away. Probably better to see what scrap value you could get.
