Do you mean will a garage give you a straight-up cash deal for your car? Not usually, no. Not unless it’s a very rare or especially desirable one. Most garages will take a car as a trade-in, of course, but in that instance they also want some of your money and they want you to buy one of the cars they already have for sale.
