Good news – yes, it will be honoured. As of September 1, 2005, Mercedes-Benz offered a two-year, Europe-wide warranty on all its new cars. That means this C 200 d Sport should be covered by the warranty until next year, with it expiring on whatever date the car was first registered in 2017 (i.e., if it was registered on August 1, you will have warranty until July 31). There may also be an option to extend the manufacturer warranty with Mercedes Ireland beyond its expiry date, for a fee.
