Simply because it’s an in-demand car around the world, and we are the only market outside of Japan that takes the Corolla in right-hand drive. Combine that with the volatile political situation in Turkey, where the Corolla is made for the European market, and you have a two month waiting list. Mind you, six-to-eight weeks is not unusual for ordering any car from any factory, so if you want to speed things up a little, maybe try compromising on some colour and spec items and see what dealers have in stock.
