Why no plates on cars for sale?
Hello, why are some second hand cars pictured without the registration plates on the dealers website? The plates they display look like an advertisement for the dealership. Any help appreciated.

There can be plenty of reasons for that. As you suggested, sometimes it can be to get extra branding for the dealership, perhaps also to prevent other people using their images. It could also be due to selling imported cars that have yet to be registered in Ireland.
