Why is my Mondeo hesitating?
Ford Mondeo 07 MK4 1.8 diesel only betwteen 100-110KM/hr when slowing down not on accelerating intermittently the car will appear to stall for a second If in cruise control the fault will cancel cruise control Ford dealer blamed filters on the problem, replaced them all , problem is still there

Hi Nigel,
There is a known issue with this generation of the Mondeo 1.8 TDCi that causes hesitation at high engine temperatures (which would be normal at such speeds). Depending on the batch of injectors in your car the engine's control module (referred to as the ECU or ECM) may need reprogramming. I highly advise you bring the car to a Ford dealer to have this work carried out.
It may be something else, of course, but that's a good place to start as it's a known issue.
