First thing to check if you’re finding the ride quality of any car too firm is the tyre pressures. Cars often have their tyres over-inflated when sitting on a forecourt, or being transported, so break out the owner's manual, check the correct pressures and make sure all tyres are at their proper level of inflation. We certainly don’t recall the Venga being a particular hard-riding car (and we’ve tested them on roads in Galway and Clare — serious bumps and lumps out there…), but I guess it depends on your reference.
