I have a 2016 Hyundai i20 it’s 4 months out of warranty and the timing chain needs replacing at a cost of £1,200 the cars had regular services and is very low mileage 30,000 on the clock is this normal for it to need replacing so soon
Hi Kerry,
That's very low mileage for a chain to need replacing. I'd suggest you urge the dealer to talk to Hyundai about covering at least part of the repair as a goodwill gesture and see how you get on.
