I live in Ireland. Everything is in Km however why is the bigger numbers on speedo clock in miles and the smaller numbers in km? It's not an import. Peugeot 308 SR 1.6 HDi 90 BHP. I just need to know incase a buyer asks. Is it just something Peuegot do?
Hi Carol,
I'm sure you're aware that Ireland change from miles and mph to kilometres and km/h in 2005. Up to that point, cars sold here had to have mph speedos, but many also had km/h markings in smaller font. After that point, cars had to have km/h speeds, but many still had mph markings. It really makes no difference whatsoever to the car and shouldn't worry potential buyers.
