Why do some buyers blank out the number plate?
If a car on Carzone for sale privately has the number plates blanked out, why is this?

Hi Dermot,
It doesn't necessarily mean anything sinister, probably just that the person values their privacy. You'll know quick enough if you ring them up whether or not they're trying to hide something. No harm asking them why they did it.
