Why can't I get a decent price?
why cant I get a decent price for my car? I have an 08 Renault Clio Campus. It has just over 55,000 km. I was offered 2,000E, which I think they were trying their luck as a woman on my own, maybe they thought I didnt have a clue. Mileage doesnt seem to be taken into consideration

Hi Margaret,
I’m sorry to break it to you, but that’s not an unreasonable offer for a 2008 Clio. Values for used cars are very soft at the moment anyway, and Renaults from that period especially don’t do well at trade-in time because Renault sold so many at such a hefty discount. It’s also the Campus, which is the older Clio body shape dating back to the late nineties, which doesn’t help. You might get a little better if you shop around, but I wouldn’t expect miracles.
