In general Irish insurance companies blanch and run for the hills when presented with anything even slightly out of the ordinary, but your request isn’t so unusual – after all, until 2007 the long wheelbase Land Rover Defender actually had seats for 12! I would suggest the old fashioned tactic of a good ring-around or, if you find you’re not getting anywhere, contacting a good reputable local broker. They should be able to get you sorted.
