Which vehicles mean exemption from BIK?

hi can you tell me what commercial vehicles i can buy which have back seats but where i am not liable to pay ANY benefit in kind???

Our answer:

Hi Bobby,

It’s not the van or the car in question, it’s how you use it. According to Revenue, “where a vehicle is available for private use, a taxable benefit arises.” So it’s not the car, it’s the usage. If you really want to pick your way through the minefield that is benefit in kind, then you really need to talk to an experienced tax accountant.
