I'm thinking on buying a new car, but I cannot decide between the mazda 2, Yaris, Clio or the I20. Which would be the one the last the longest and the ones cheapest to ride?
Hi there,
These are all good choices but we’d recommend the brand-new Renault Clio V first, as it’s the newest car of the lot, having only launched in 2019. A Yaris Hybrid would be a cheap car to run, but it’s uninspiring to drive and own. The i20 is slightly above average in all departments, so it’s not exciting, but the long warranty would help. And we love the Mazda2 in many respects, although it has normally aspirated petrol engines, which are hard work to drive and not that cheap on fuel/tax. Go for the Renault with a smooth turbocharged petrol, like the 100 TCe.
