Which seven-seater for under €20k?
Hi. Looking for a 7 Seater Automatic from a main dealer. On the shortlist are Peugeot 5008, Citroen C4 Grand Picasso and Ford C-Max. Ford Galaxy and Mazda 5 have been ruled out for various reasons. Budget is max 20,000. Fuel can be petrol or diesel. X-Trail is too small. Outlander might do it but they're hard to find for under 20k. What's your view please on the reliability of these Peugoet and Citroen models? And are there any other cars you'd recommend? Thank you.

Hi Tony,
You’ve got a good shortlist there and, really, for the money, it’s hard to look past the Citroen, which is a superb family chariot. Neither the Grand C4 Picasso nor the older 5008 are known to be dreadfully unreliable; instead owners report a modest amount of minor electrical and build quality niggles. The Ford’s a good choice but, if you fancy something different (and definitely reliable), have a look at the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento SUVs as alternatives.
