Which saloon for up to €5,000?
Hi - I'm looking to spend between 4K & 5K for a saloon type car second hand car. I need to be able to accommodate 2 car seats in the back. Would like a 1.4 or 1.6 engine, what would you suggest? Was looking at an opel vectra?

Hi Colette,
The Vectra is a decent car, and certainly offers good space for the money, but don't buy a 1.6 petrol model as it's underpowered and very thirsty. How about a Toyota Avensis 1.6 VVTi? Much better on power and economy and much more reliable too. Plenty of space in the back as well.
