Which saloon for three child seats?
Hi Shane, we have 3 children and find it really difficult to get a car that fits the 3 of them across the back seat comfortably. We also need a large boot for holidays etc. Unfortunately, I do not particurlarly like any MPV's. Is there any saloon or SUV that you would recommend without breaking the bank?

The best saloon for taking three car seats across the back is the Volvo S80, and if you track one down with the 1.6 diesel engine then running costs are well contained. Most of the larger SUVs will take three car seats across, but it's best to take along the seats (and kids) to check when you're test driving.
