Which saloon for three across the back?
Hi Shane, we have 3 teenage children. I would like to change my car as its getting a bit cramped in the back seat. We have a Toyota avensis. Is there a saloon that would fit 3 across the back comfortably? I don't want an mpv and have considered an SUV but would ideally like to keep to a saloon for cheaper running costs etc. I would like something nice, volvo, audi, bmw, mercedes but not sure if any of them are suitable for more than 2 comfortably.

Hi Gillian,
The Volvo S80 and V70 will both take three booster seats, and a last-gen E-Class should squeeze them in too. The Lexus GS 300h is also worth a look. The Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series will be tighter inside, but as ever bring your seats along to check that everything will fit.
