Which premium hatch to go for?
Hi. I currently own a 1.4 petrol Astra but want to get a diesel car as I'm currently doing alot of driving on motorways. Looking at BMW 1 Series hatch, Audi A3 or VW Golf. What would you recommend? Budget is around €12-14k.

I'd go for a Volkswagen Golf diesel. It's comfy, refined and frugal, plus your budget will go further on a Golf than it will on one of the other two, as they're more expensive (and in the case of the Audi, mechanically identical) premium brands.
