The answer to that will vary depending on the engine under the bonnet.

For example, the 1.2 VTi petrol engine uses SAE 5W-30 synthetic (PSA B71 2290) ideally for a wide range of ambient temperatures, though others are acceptable, including 0W-30 (PSA B71 2312) and 5W-40 (PSA B71 2296).
