Which of these used cars to go for?
I am doing a total of 80km a day for work. All Motorway. I only work 14 days a month. I am driving a 1.6 Golf and a full tank of diesel (€75) gets me to and from work 7 times. Possibly 8 if I did 110km/h at 2000 Revs. Should I be considering a 1.4 Petrol Manual or 1.6 diesel Giulietta

If those are the only two options you're presenting us with, then it does sound like the diesel best suits your driving needs. It will be more economical than the petrol model on such a journey and we wouldn't worry about DPF problems given how much time you spend on the motorway.
