Which Hyundai to go for?

Hi , I have a 131 Hyundai Santa Fe 2 wheel drive , it is silver with side steps & 90,000 on clock what is it worth , I don't know wheather to trade it in or try & sell it my self , plus I don't know which car to go to as Hyundai have cut back on the extras & put up the price , if you could advise me I would be really grateful , I was also thinking if I could trade in a 04 tino that I have at house as scrap page would that help me buying a car , thankyou

Hi Rosemarie,

On the scrappage thing, it may not be possible to trade in two cars at the same time and still avail of the ‘scrappage’ schemes currently on offer. It will probably come down to the fine print of the individual deal and what you can agree with the dealer.

On that basis, I’d suggest you try to sell your Santa Fe yourself. It’s a popular model, and around €28-29,000 seems to be the starting price for that year. As to what to trade in to, it depends – do you need the seven seats of the Santa Fe? If not, can I suggest the new Tucson? Much more affordable and has plenty of standard toys.
