Difficult one for us to answer – is your car a five-speed manual? If so, that’s likely to be the AWD6 transmission, which was fitted to that model of Accord and also the FR-V with the same 2.2-litre i-DTEC engine. If it’s a six-speed manual, it might be the BWG6, which (to the best of our knowledge) was only fitted to the Accord 2.2 diesel. There’s a chance a gearbox from the contemporary Civic 2.2 i-DTEC may work, but we wouldn’t recommend trying it – as there are plenty of AWD6 and BWG6 units available for sale on the internet.
