We love the Civic; it’s an excellent family hatchback that’s enormously roomy, good to drive and, with Honda’s reputation, should be working perfectly in a decade’s time. The Vezel Hybrid is a bit of an unknown quantity to us, as the equivalent European model, the HR-V, isn’t offered here with a hybrid powertrain. We quite like the standard HR-V, but as for the hybrid we simply don’t know what it’s like.
